Mike Kazaleh is skilled in animation, layout, storyboarding, design, timing, plus he writes and illustrates comic books to boot.
 
Mike Kazaleh began his animation career producing low budget animation in Detroit, mostly commercials and industrial films. He moved to Los Angeles, and got his first studio job at Filmation, as an apprentice animator. He quickly moved up the ranks, and became one of the best animators in the business, working on many television series and specials.
 
Some of the television work Kazaleh has done was at studios that include; Bakshi Animation, Bob Clampett Productions, Colossal Pictures, D.I.C., Disney, Hanna-Barbera, Klasky-Csupo, Last Laff Studios, Renegade, Rick Reinert Pictures, Saban, Sunbow, and Warner Brothers. Mike has also worked on animation features, such as; “The Ant Bully”, “Lil’ Pimp”, and “Cool World”.
 

At Playhouse Pictures, Mr. Kazaleh worked on industrials, sales films, and almost forty television commercials. For shorter durations, Mike did similar work for; Duck Soup Studios, East Willis Productions, Hanna-Barbera, Last Laff Studios, Klasky-Csupo, and Kurtz & Friends. And, during all this time, from the very beginning of his career, right up to the present, he has worked on comic books, full-time during breaks in his animation work, and on the side during his full-time animation work. He’s done comic books for Archie Adventures, Bongo Comics, Cracked Magazine, DC Comics, Disney Publications, Fantagraphics, and Marvel Comics … and, from time to time, he creates his own … the Zorch comic to the right is one example, and still others are in the Flip Board, on the home page..
