UPA Documentary Feature

Job Opportunities on the UPA documentary feature

The UPA Legacy Project is looking for talented and committed animation oriented people to help in a number of positions, which are listed below.  The UPA feature documentary has been “in production” for several years, but lack of funds have made it slow going, although, going just the same.  As we write this we are not yet able to pay salaries, let alone big salaries, so anyone interested would have to be willing to work on spec, or pure volunteer, for now. We expect to be getting funding before too long, in fact, a large grant looks imminent, but we are unable to guarantee anything, except film credit, and the chance to be the first hired when, and if, funds finally do arrive.  We’re convinced they will, but that doesn’t mean they will happen.

So, with that in mind, if you’re still interested, here are the areas in which we are looking for a few good folks, listed in the rough order of their importance …

1. Transcripts of interviews (more than one person may be needed)
2. Scheduling, Organizing & Maintaining extensive Contact Lists
3. Maintaining and Updating UPApix web site about the doc
4. Editing & organizing on the documentary feature
5. Run Camera for interviews & MOS Shoots
6. Telemarketing/emailing for Fund Raisers
7. Researching Upa History, Artists, Films
8. Organizing Papers, Films & Images
