Ed Stevens is our new Audio Engineer. We will continue to broadcast our episodes from the KCLA-FM studios, but, for a number of reasons, we are now recording them at Ed Stevens’ place. Three of the reasons are: Ed’s got better equipment, the parking situation is better, and the host is now able to concentrate on the interview, without having to be running the equipment at the same time. Ed Stevens has been in sound for many years, although this is his first radio show. The bulk of his experience was almost 20 years on the road, singing and playing the guitar, all across the Northwest and Alaska, transporting a truck load of sound gear wherever he went, and upgrading bit by bit. He now has everything from top-notch mics to Pro Tools. The shows are not only better quality, but the interviews are more relaxed. We’ve all been thrilled with the results, hope you are too!

Every Sunday at 7:30 am, you will be able to listen to one of our shows, either by tuning in at KCLA-FM 99.3 on your radio dial in Los Angeles, or online, anywhere in the world, by visiting www.kclafm.com. Plus, you will be able to listen to any of our shows, at any time, from anywhere in the world, right here on this site.
The host of Toon In! …to the World of Animation is Tee Bosustow, who has almost no experience in animation, but is a huge fan. His meager animation credits include, being one of the sons of Stephen Bosustow, who ran UPA for most of the early years, working for a few months as an intern inbetweener, directing an animation commercial, and producing several animation shorts in Hong Kong. But, perhaps it’s best that Tee knows little about animation, he can ask the dumb questions for all of us! Fortunately, as we say, he’s an enthusiastic fan.
